BACKGROUND
CK Management was established in 1993. Since the beginning of the management company the sole purpose in mind is to help those artist struggling in the music industry. To help with career development, aid, guidance and council and the overall goal to provide a service that is untouchable in this business we call music. Chris King is the founder and president of C. K. Management. Chris has over twelve years experience with artist management in the music industry. His influence with music began at an early age, while in high school was first chair drummer in the Carl Albert High School. His love for music continued although not directly related to the industry. In 1990 He went to work with Days Inn of America as the Director of Sales and Marketing. In 1992 he continued his marketing career with Ramada Inn as the Director of Sales and Marketing, eventually landing a role as district senior marketing manager of Surti, Inc. In 1993 he decided to take on the business with a new career goal in mind, artist management. Chris was attending Rose State College in Midwest City, Oklahoma, majoring in Secondary Education. He has managed several local artist and bands representing them in Nashville. Chris's management skills, marketing background, has led him to manage several top 40 artist on the Music Row, R&R, and Billboard Charts.
